HELPFUL LINKS:
We are believers in Jesus Christ and we welcome you to the church in Frisco!
Come and see what it's like to pursue Christ with us!
Our Vision:
1) Jesus Christ is God who became a man and died on the cross for our sins. This lovely Person is not only our Savior but also now our life. The very life of God has become ours in Christ. 1 John 5:12 says He who has the Son has the life. We want to be recovered into the pure enjoyment of Christ as life in everything we do!
2) The Body of Christ is one universally. The Body cannot be divided. All the believers everywhere are part of this Body by having the life of Christ. We are charged to keep the oneness of the Body. Ephesians 4:3 says, Being diligent to keep the oneness of the Body in the uniting bond of peace.
3) The Body of Christ is being built by the functioning of every member. We endeavor to bring everyone among us in the church into function with the goal that the church as the Body of Christ may be fully built. Ephesian 4:12 says For the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry unto the building up of the Body of Christ.
Our Way:
1) We gather throughout the week to take care of the many vital groups and needs of the church. Children, Teens, College-Age, Families, and more! We meet for prayer, truth study, and community outreach.
2) On the Lord's Day, (what most people call "Sunday" we love to call the "Lord's day"), we gather together at our meeting place on North County Road and have the Lord's table meeting. We sing and praise the Lord together and share communion with all those who have received Jesus Christ as their Savior and life. Luke 22:19-20 says: "and He took a loaf and gave thanks, and He broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me... And similarly the cup"
3) The church also has a particular topic that we cover together. Everyone studies this topic at home, praying and reading Bible passages and select ministry excerpts. After the Lord's table, we take turns speaking about the riches of Christ as the gospel to one another. 1 Corinthians 14:4 says "...he who prophesies builds up the church" and verse 26 says "...Whenever you come together, each one has..." Everyone can take a turn to speak for the Lord!
Does our church have a name?
The church in Frisco is not our name but it is what we are. We consider every genuine believer of Jesus Christ in Frisco to be a part of the church in Frisco. We are simply the church where we are and don't want to denominate ourselves. Our aim is to practice the pattern found in the New Testament.
